do this step carefully, do NOT
be in a rush to remove them! you might get your natural plate damaged.
by week 2, depending on the glue you used the bond will be weaker, the more contact you have with water, soap and other chemicals, the faster the press ons will pop off, pressure and other types of harsher contact on the nails will also have this effect.
to remove them you will need a recipient that fits your hand (to fully submerge the nails), cuticle pusher, water and soap.
⟡ ݁₊ .
- Soak your hand for 15 to 20 minutes in warm water, soap, and oil.
- Using a cuticle pusher, start by gently pushing back the sides where the cuticle is already looser, alternating between soaking and using the pusher (don’t force it!).
- after removing them you can file the remaining glue, if there's any.
after doing this process its important to take care of your natural nails, wash them well and aply cuticle oil to hidrate them again!
if you have applied press ons without giving your nails time to recover, and/or they feel brittle and weak, give them time and take care of them, do not apply another press on!
If your nails are strong and doing well overall, you can begin the process to apply another press on, i've listed the full tutorial on my blog ╰┈➤ˎˊ˗ how to nail prep ?
